It’s not often I appear in front of the lens but I wanted to share with you some of my thoughts and motivation behind shooting the Mountains: Epic Cycling Climbs book. Set against the context of this year’s Tour de France visit to the Mont Ventoux, the film examines man’s relationship to the mountains and the physical landscape, and also gives an insight into me as a photographer and why I embarked on this three-year project.
